20 years ago today, Saddam Hussein launched his attack into Kuwait, which lead to the largest build up of military might since the Second World War. Many of us were there and remember the build up during Operation Desert Shield in the protection of the Saudi oil fields. The shield turned into the Storm on 17 Jan 1991 after months of waiting in the sand. Seems hard to believe that it has been so long.
